Florist in KL: 11 Places to Buy Flowers in Kuala Lumpur
Published
Looking for a florist in KL? Whether you need a birthday bouquet, a jasmine garland for a temple visit or flowers delivered to a hotel the same afternoon, Kuala Lumpur has options at every price. The old flower shops of Chinatown sell stems by the bunch, Brickfields has garland stalls, Bangsar and Petaling Jaya have designer florists, and several online florists deliver across the Klang Valley within hours.
This guide covers 11 places to buy flowers in Kuala Lumpur, all checked as operating in October 2026. Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and change with the season, so treat them as a guide and confirm when you order.

Walk-in florists and flower stalls
The first seven entries are places you can visit in person. Chinatown and Brickfields are both close to the LRT and easy to combine with sightseeing; Bangsar and Kota Damansara are better reached by Grab.

Weng Hoa has traded from its corner spot on Jalan Hang Lekir, at the Jalan Tun H.S. Lee end of the Petaling Street area, since 1983. It is the most convenient florist in KL's old town for visitors: Pasar Seni LRT/MRT station and Central Market are a few minutes' walk away.
You can buy single stems, ready-made bunches or larger quantities. Time Out notes calla lilies, casablanca lilies, carnations, alstroemeria, hyacinths and peonies among the stock, with seasonal and imported stems kept in a temperature-controlled room at the back. Florist foam, greenery, orchids and a few potted plants are also sold, so it doubles as a supply shop for people arranging their own flowers.
If you are sending flowers rather than carrying them, the shop runs an online order service with same-day delivery in KL and parts of Selangor.

| Address | 129 Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, Chinatown, 50000 Kuala Lumpur |

A few doors up Jalan Tun H.S. Lee from Weng Hoa, Lee Wah is one of the older names on Chinatown's short flower strip. The company was incorporated in 2000 and says it has more than 30 years in the trade, serving both walk-in and online customers.
Time Out describes it as practical rather than pretty: flowers stand in buckets on a cement floor, and you can buy by the stem or in wholesale quantities. That makes it a good place to compare prices with Weng Hoa before you buy. It also stocks seasonal items for Chinese New Year.
The online shop covers hand bouquets, flower baskets and boxes, vase arrangements, grand-opening and condolence pieces, bridal bouquets and preserved or dried flowers.
Brickfields garland stalls (Little India)
| Address | Jalan Tun Sambanthan and the streets around Sri Kandaswamy Kovil and Sri Sakthi Vinayagar Temple, Brickfields, 50470 Kuala Lumpur |
|---|---|
| Opening hours | Stalls keep their own hours; most busy from morning to evening (check before visiting) |
| Price guide | Not published; garlands are priced by size and flowers, so ask at the stall |
| Delivery | Generally walk-in only; for weddings and big orders, ask a stall in person |
| Order | Walk-in |

Brickfields is KL's Little India, and the flower stalls here sell what most florists do not: fresh garlands (malai) of jasmine, chrysanthemums, roses and other blooms threaded by hand for temple offerings, weddings and festivals. Malaysia Traveller notes stalls selling fragrant garlands outside the Sri Sakthi Vinayagar Temple and the Sri Kandaswamy Temple, and more stalls line Jalan Tun Sambanthan.
The stalls are busiest just before Deepavali. In October 2025 Malay Mail reported vendors preparing garlands at the Brickfields bazaar, with one flower seller saying the area's flower stalls get packed and usually sell out completely in the final weekend. If you need a garland for a specific day around a festival, buy or order early.
Bring cash, and if you are visiting a temple afterwards, follow the usual etiquette (shoes off, shoulders and knees covered). KL Sentral is a short walk away.
Floristika Bangsar
| Address | 16 Jalan Liku, Bangsar, 59100 Kuala Lumpur |
|---|---|
| Opening hours | Daily 8 am โ 7 pm |
| Price guide | Online bouquets about RM75 to RM600+; minimum online order RM80 plus a delivery charge; loose bunches at the shop from about RM40 (10โ20 stems, per The Smart Local) |

Floristika is a large retail and wholesale flower shop on a quiet road in Bangsar, open every day from early morning. Walk in for bunches of fresh-cut flowers at close to wholesale prices, then arrange them yourself, or choose a finished bouquet.
Besides fresh flowers it sells potted plants, preserved flowers, silk arrangements and floristry supplies, and it runs plant rental and corporate gifting. In season it also takes Christmas tree pre-orders.
It is a useful stop if you are staying in Bangsar or Mid Valley and want more choice than a mall kiosk offers.
JK Florist & Party Shop (Bangsar)
| Address | 18-1 Jalan Telawi 5, Bangsar Baru, 59100 Kuala Lumpur |
|---|---|
| Opening hours | Daily 9 am โ 2 am |

Pudu Ria is a long-established fresh-flower importer and wholesaler with its headquarters in Chan Sow Lin, a branch in Pudu and another in Johor. It is where event stylists and home arrangers go for quantity: its online shop lists thousands of items by flower and foliage variety, from roses and chrysanthemums to tools and floral foam.
Unlike a gift florist, the strength here is stems rather than wrapped bouquets, though the company also makes hand bouquets, condolence wreaths and grand-opening stands. Flowers usually arrive in bud and open in the vase. It also runs beginner floral design classes.
We could not verify a public wholesale flower market in KL that is set up for visitors, so wholesalers like Pudu Ria and Floristika are the closest thing.

FNP (Ferns N Petals) is an international flowers-and-gifts brand with a Malaysian site. It is aimed at people ordering from overseas who want flowers combined with cakes, chocolates or hampers, and it lists same-day delivery to Kuala Lumpur.
It is pricier than local florists, so compare with the KL-based shops above if flowers alone are what you want.
Tips for buying from a florist in KL
Flowers and local customs
- Funerals and condolences: white and yellow chrysanthemums and mostly white arrangements are the usual choice for Chinese funerals, which is also why you should avoid them for happy occasions. Florists make condolence wreaths and stands and can deliver to funeral parlours; say it is for a wake when you order.
- Grand openings: businesses in Malaysia receive tall congratulatory flower stands when they open. JK Florist, Lee Wah and Pudu Ria all list grand-opening stands; order a day or two ahead and give the exact shop lot for delivery.
- Temples and Hindu festivals: jasmine garlands are offered at Hindu temples and used at weddings and Deepavali. Buy them fresh on the day from the Brickfields stalls.
Prices and peak dates
Valentine's Day (14 February), Chinese Valentine's Day (20 May), Mother's Day (second Sunday of May), university graduation season and the weeks before Chinese New Year and Deepavali are the busiest times. A Chinatown guide from 2023 reported prices rising by around 30% before Mother's Day, and online florists often sell out of popular designs. Order a few days ahead, or use pre-order where offered.
Florists in Central Market and Petaling Jaya source many of their flowers from Cameron Highlands; imported stems cost more. In May 2026 The Star reported local gerbera at about RM12 a stalk against RM20 for imported, and local rose bundles at about RM40 against RM60 for imported, after heavy rain cut Cameron Highlands supply. If you are on a budget, ask for local flowers.
Delivery tips
- Check the same-day cut-off: it ranges from 1 pm to 5 pm depending on the florist.
- For hotels, give the guest's full name as it appears on the booking, and ask reception to hold the flowers if they are out.
- For condominiums, include the block, unit number and a phone number; this helps the rider reach the recipient.
- Free-delivery offers usually depend on postcode or a minimum spend. Lee Wah, for example, delivers free to KL postcodes 50000โ60000 and Petaling Jaya 46000โ46999.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I buy flowers in KL city centre?
The Chinatown florists are the most central: Weng Hoa Flower Boutique on Jalan Hang Lekir and Lee Wah Florist on Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, both a short walk from Pasar Seni LRT/MRT station. For jasmine garlands, go to the stalls in Brickfields near KL Sentral.
Is there a florist in KL open late at night?
JK Florist in Bangsar (Jalan Telawi 5) and its Setapak branch open daily from 9 am to 2 am. Weng Hoa in Chinatown is open until 10 pm.
How much does a bouquet cost in Kuala Lumpur?
Simple bouquets start around RM38โ60 at Weng Hoa and Happy Bunch, mid-range designer bouquets usually cost RM90โ250, and large arrangements go well past RM400. Prices rise around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
Can I get same-day flower delivery in KL?
Yes. Most florists in this guide deliver the same day in the Klang Valley if you order before their cut-off: 1 pm at Scentales, 2 pm at Floristika, 3 pm at Pudu Ria, 4 pm at Weng Hoa and 5 pm at Flower Chimp, Happy Bunch and BloomThis. Flower Chimp also offers 90-minute express delivery.
What flowers should I avoid giving in Malaysia?
White and yellow chrysanthemums and all-white arrangements are strongly linked with funerals in Chinese custom, so avoid them for birthdays, hospital visits or celebrations. Tell the florist the occasion and they will steer you right.
