About Constant Gardener Coffee
Constant Gardener is a small, family-owned multi-roaster coffee bar on the ground floor of the Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce building on Light Street. Rather than roasting its own beans, it rotates coffees from different roasters, alongside single-origin hot chocolates and infusion teas. An espresso costs RM11, a latte from RM14 and the Gardener's iced chocolate RM16.
It is one of the few specialty coffee bars in George Town open into the evening, until 10:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. The location, near the Penang State Museum and the Fort Cornwallis end of town, makes it a handy stop on a heritage walk. Seating is limited, so it suits a short stop rather than a long laptop session.
