About Gurdwara Sahib Tatt Khalsa Diwan

Guru Nanak Darbar Tatt Khalsa Diwan is the largest gurdwara in Southeast Asia by land area. The community dates from the early 20th century, and the present two-storey building was completed in 1996, with the prayer hall (Darbar Sahib) upstairs and a large dining hall and kitchen on the ground floor.

Everyone is welcome, whatever their faith. Cover your head (scarves are provided at the entrance), remove shoes and wash your hands and feet before entering the prayer hall, and do not bring tobacco or alcohol onto the premises. The free vegetarian langar meal is served to all visitors; eat seated on the floor and take only what you will finish. Medan Tuanku and Chow Kit monorail stations are each about 10 minutes away on foot.
