About JungleBird
JungleBird is a rum bar in the Plaza Damansara strip of Bukit Damansara, open since 2017 and a regular on Asia's 50 Best Bars between 2018 and 2024. The back bar holds more than 250 rums from around the world, and the menu, Rummin' Around the World, mixes tiki classics with Malaysian flavours. The Cendol Colada is the house signature, alongside drinks such as the Nyonya Business with rum, cucumber and chilli.
A JungleBird Piña Colada costs about RM45, and a typical spend is around RM80 per person. The bar was named in Tatler's Best 20 Bars Malaysia 2026. Weekend afternoons are quieter than the evening sessions. Bukit Damansara is west of the city centre, about 15 minutes from KLCC by Grab outside peak hours.
