About Sekinchan Rice
Sekinchan, in Sabak Bernam district about 100 km north-west of KL, is one of the major rice-producing areas of Malaysia, with flat, well-irrigated paddy fields that yield 10 to 12 tonnes a hectare. Local rice mills sell rice by the bag to visitors.
The Sekinchan Rice Mill Factory and its Paddy Gallery are run by the PLS Group, which grew from a rice transport business into rice wholesale, seedlings and farm services. Tourism Selangor lists it as open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and closed on Saturday; it does not take online orders. WhatsApp: +60 16-205 6558.
