About Mahkota Parade
Mahkota Parade opened on 30 January 1994 and was relaunched in 2010 after a refurbishment. It is owned by Hektar REIT, which describes it as the first regional shopping centre in the heart of historic Melaka. The Parkson department store is the anchor, and the REIT reported a tenant occupancy rate of 98.1 per cent for its 2024 financial year, with about 6.8 million visits a year.
It is about 600 m south of Dutch Square, so it is the easiest mall to reach on foot from the old town. The centre also hosts many of the city's community events, tourist events and exhibitions. Tourism Melaka lists the phone number as 06-282 6151.
