About Slow Day Cafe
Slow Day Cafe is a tea-focused cafe on a first floor in Mount Austin, built around matcha, hojicha and genmaicha, and it doubles as an art-jamming studio with customers' paintings on the walls. The matcha cake and the nutty genmaicha nama gateau cost RM28 a slice.
The strawberry matcha (RM17.90) is layered strawberry compote, milk and matcha; the cold matcha espresso is the stronger choice. A May 2026 guide lists Monday to Thursday opening, while a September 2026 guide lists only Monday and Thursday, so check before a Tuesday or Wednesday visit. It is not halal-certified.
