About Bagan Lalang Beach

In Sepang. Bagan Lalang is a long casuarina-lined beach at the mouth of the Sepang river, about 75 km south of Kuala Lumpur and 25 minutes from KLIA. It is popular with campers and motorhome owners at weekends, and the Sepang council keeps walkways, a food court and toilets going. At very low tide you can walk a few hundred metres out to look at small crabs on the flats.

The sea is not suitable for swimming. It is a practical stop on the way to or from the airport: take the KLIA Ekspres to KLIA, then a Grab of around 25 minutes. Weekends and school holidays are busy, so go on a weekday for space.
