About The Bar at The Mansion
The Bar sits just inside the entrance of the restored colonial-era mansion at the front of The Majestic Malacca, on the riverside stretch of Jalan Bunga Raya. The hotel describes it as a classic European-saloon room with wood panelling, serving whiskies, bespoke cocktails and other drinks.
The hotel also promotes a Tanqueray gin made from an 1839 recipe that it says is available only at The Majestic Malacca. Opening hours are not published, so call 06-289 8000 first. It suits a quiet drink before dinner more than a late night.
