About Jadi Batek Gallery
Jadi Batek Gallery is a batik and handicraft centre a short walk from the Bukit Bintang shopping strip. Entry is free, and you can watch artisans draw wax lines and colour batik panels by hand before browsing the shop, which sells batik shirts, sarongs, scarves, tote bags and other Malaysian handicrafts.
The main draw is the hands-on batik colouring session, where you paint a pre-waxed design to take home; small pieces and tote bags start from about RM35. Allow extra time if you want your piece to dry before you leave. Call 03-2145 1133 to check workshop availability, especially for groups.
