About SS2 Monday Night Market
SS2's Monday night market in Petaling Jaya, about 20 minutes from central KL, is one of the best-known food markets in the Klang Valley. The stalls form a U-shape through the SS2 commercial blocks and are mostly Malaysian Chinese: char kuey teow, oyster omelette, Penang Hokkien prawn mee, fried radish cake, dumplings, steamed buns, loh bak and chee cheong fun.
Halal options are limited. Parking is difficult, so take a Grab and come after 7 pm when every stall is trading, or at 5 pm for shorter queues. It is the only big market on a Monday, which helps if your trip does not include a Wednesday for Taman Connaught.
