About Tanjung Bidara
Tanjung Bidara is one of the most popular sandy beaches in Melaka state, with resorts and chalets behind it, rocks and boulders at the headland and canoe and jet-ski hire. It is also one of the state's main landing sites for nesting hawksbill turtles.
In September 2026 it hosted the closing beach festival of Festival Sungai Melaka, with jet-ski displays and low-cost water activities, and the organisers say it will become an annual event. The water is calmer and more pleasant than near the city, but still not clear; watch your footing on the rocks at low tide.
