About Kaki Minom
Kaki Minom, which means "drinking friends" in Baba Malay, is the rooftop bar of Baba House, a Peranakan guesthouse on Heeren Street, the same road as the Baba and Nyonya Heritage Museum. It serves drinks and light meals with a view over the shophouse roofs, and the hotel says you can sit with your feet in its shallow rooftop pools while you drink.
The TourismMelaka guide (2026) suggests going at dusk for the light. Hours are not published, so call the hotel on 06-280 6888 to check that the rooftop is open to non-guests that evening.
