About 118 Mall
118 Mall opened on 1 November 2026 at the foot of Merdeka 118, the world's second-tallest building, and is now the newest of the shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur. It has seven storeys and about 1 million sq ft of space for more than 300 stores; 158 were trading on opening day, with more due in the coming months. Anchors include SOGO118, a new concept from the SOGO department store, Village Grocer, a 22,000 sq ft Decathlon, BookXcess and Best Denki.
The centrepiece is The Atmosphere, an event piazza under an 88-metre glass dome, with the Raincloud, a multi-storey water feature with light projections. Level 3 holds the Malaysian Artisan District for local brands and crafts and the 40,000 sq ft Makanizm Food Hall of Malaysian food, and cafes include Kenny Hills Cafe, ZUS Coffee and Oriental Kopi. Petaling Street and Central Market are a short walk away.
Getting there: Merdeka MRT station on the Kajang Line connects directly to the lower ground floor. Plaza Rakyat LRT station and Maharajalela Monorail station are a few minutes' walk away. Parking is reported at RM3 an hour, capped at RM21 a day.
