Laundry in Selangor: 7 Self-Service Laundromats Open 24 Hours
Laundry in Selangor is mostly self-service: chains such as Cleanpro and dobiQueen run coin and app-operated laundromats in shoplots across Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Klang and Cyberjaya, most of them open 24 hours. For laundry in central Kuala Lumpur, see our Kuala Lumpur laundry guide.
This guide covers 7 laundromats in Selangor, picked for being close to areas where visitors stay, and checked against the Cleanpro and dobiQueen outlet pages in October 2026. We have not included independent dry cleaners because we could not confirm their current hours on a source we could read; ask your hotel for dry cleaning.

Tips for Laundry in Selangor
How self-service works
Payment methods differ by outlet, so read the instructions on the machines before loading. Bring your own detergent if you prefer a particular brand, and allow about 75 minutes for a full wash and dry.
Drop-off and pickup
If you do not want to wait, dobiQueen staff at some outlets (including SS1 and Seksyen 7) will wash and fold your laundry for an extra RM8, and dobiQueen offers pickup and delivery from RM18 in its service areas.
Hotel laundry
Hotels charge per piece and are usually much dearer than a laundromat. Serviced apartments in Bandar Sunway and Petaling Jaya often have a washing machine, so check before you book.
