About Tanjung Sepat Lovers' Bridge
In Tanjung Sepat. Tanjung Sepat is a fishing town on the south Selangor coast, known for seafood and for Lovers' Bridge (Jambatan Cinta), a long pier that runs out over the mudflats. The original wooden bridge collapsed years ago and was rebuilt. It is free and open at all hours and looks best at sunrise or sunset.
The coast here is mudflat, not a swimming beach. Seafood restaurants near the bridge serve crab, prawns, steamed fish and clams, and the town is also known for its steamed buns (pau). Many restaurants here are Chinese-run and not halal, so ask first if you need halal food. Morib is about 20 minutes up the coast. Drive or take a Grab; allow up to 1 hour 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur.
