About Penang Bird Park
Penang Bird Park in Seberang Jaya calls itself the first and largest bird park of its kind in Malaysia. Landscaped gardens and walk-through aviaries hold hornbills, pheasants, birds of prey, parrots and waterfowl, and there is a newer reptile house. Ask at the counter about feeding times on the day.
Tickets are RM65 for adults and RM45 for children under 12, with MyKad rates of RM50 and RM35; the park has offered discounts for tickets bought online through its website. Allow two hours. It is on the mainland, a short drive from the Penang Bridge, so most visitors come by car or Grab.
