About Pantai Puteri

Pantai Puteri (Princess Beach), formerly Kundor Beach, is a 2.1 km beach at Tanjung Kling that the state has developed as a seaside resort since the 1990s. Hotels, food stalls, restaurants and a night market line the road behind it, and people come for picnics, angling and camping.

Erosion is a problem: a rock wall was built along part of the beach in 2021, and sand has since been added to rebuild it. Some visitors wade in, but the water is cloudy and ships pass close offshore, so swim only in calm weather and daylight, stay near other people and obey any warning flags. It is at its best around sunset.
