About Bukit Kiara

Bukit Kiara is a forested hill between Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), Bangsar and Mont Kiara, protected as the Bukit Kiara Federal Park. Paved paths and jungle trails wind over the hill and are shared by walkers, joggers and mountain bikers; the Bukit Kiara mountain-bike trails are among the best known in the Klang Valley. A popular loop is about 4 km and takes around two hours at an easy pace.

Entry is free. Mornings from about 6 to 9 am are coolest and busiest; avoid starting late in the afternoon, as the trails get dark under the trees before sunset. Car parks at the TTDI Park and Taman Rimba Kiara entrances fill before 7 am at weekends. TTDI MRT station on the Kajang line is about 10 minutes' walk from the TTDI side. Long-tailed macaques live on the hill, so keep food out of sight.
