About Tang Fei Dessert
Tang Fei Dessert is a tong sui (Cantonese sweet soup) shop in Kuchai Lama, south of the city centre, best known for its 9-in-1 platter. The platter brings three hot desserts, four cold desserts, a peanut taro ball mochi and a coconut custard in small bowls, which might include peanut paste soup, aiyu jelly, honeydew sago, milk tea shaved ice and bubur cha cha depending on the day.
The full platter costs RM29.90 and is meant for sharing. Single bowls of red bean soup, gingko barley, tau fu fah and shaved ice are also on the menu, along with croffles. The shop is pork-free and stays open until 1 am, closing on Wednesdays, so it works as a late-night stop if you are staying in the southern suburbs or driving back from Mid Valley.
