About Snowflake Pavilion KL
Snowflake is a Taiwanese-style dessert chain founded by Taichung-born Jimmy Tsai, and its Pavilion KL branch is the most convenient one for visitors staying around Bukit Bintang. The menu is built around bowls of finely shaved ice or soft grass jelly topped with chewy taro balls, sweet potato balls, red beans, yam and other traditional toppings. The Cold Signature with fresh yam is the order most regulars point first-timers towards.
Expect to pay around RM20 per bowl, with extra toppings adding a little more. Portions are large enough for two people to share. The shop sits on Level 4 of Pavilion and gets busy after dinner and at weekends, so come mid-afternoon if you want a seat straight away. It is a cooler, mall-based alternative to a hawker-centre cendol on a hot day. Ask staff about halal status if it matters to you.
