About Tanjung Sepat and Lovers' Bridge
Distance from KL: about 80 km south-west, up to 1 hour 30 minutes by car; Morib is about 20 minutes away up the coast. Public transport: no convenient link; drive or take a Grab.
Tanjung Sepat is a small fishing town on the Selangor coast, visited for seafood and for Lovers' Bridge (Jambatan Cinta), a long pier over the mudflats. The original wooden bridge collapsed years ago and has since been rebuilt; it is free and open at all hours, and best at sunrise or sunset. Seafood restaurants near the bridge serve crab, prawns, steamed fish and clams, and the town is also known for its pau (steamed buns). The coast here is mudflat, not a swimming beach.
