About Kedai Masakan Itik Taika Huat
Taika Huat started as a Teochew braised duck stall in 1973 and is still run by the same family, in an open shop under a zinc roof built around several large trees. Order braised duck meat, wings, webs or tongue with rice or dry kway teow; a March 2026 guide also recommends the braised pig's trotter.
Prices are not posted online, so ask the staff. It is in Sutera Utama, Skudai, about 12 km north-west of the city centre. It is non-halal. Phone 017-763 2188.
