About Sekeping Kong Heng
Sekeping Kong Heng occupies a three-storey building that began as lodgings for actors working at a neighbouring theatre, which burnt down in the 1950s. It was refurbished into a minimalist, raw-concrete hotel with an old-style coffee shop on the ground floor and a rooftop pool, and has been featured by Lonely Planet and The Guardian as an industrial-chic stay.
It is in the middle of Old Town, within a short walk of Concubine Lane, the Kong Heng Square cafes and the mural lanes. Rooms are small and plain by design, so it suits travellers who want the location over a big room.
