About Teluk Batik

Teluk Batik is a bay with jungle-topped headlands at each end, lined with coconut palms and facing Pangkor Island. The sand is soft and the water is clean enough for swimming, and a lifeguard tower overlooks the beach. A steel works jetty on the horizon spoils the view a little.

There is a large car park, a paved plaza, toilets, showers and changing rooms, plus food stalls and gear hire for banana boats and speedboat rides. Allow two to three hours. It is the simplest beach to reach from Ipoh because no ferry is needed.
