About Muzium Sultan Alam Shah

The Selangor state museum opened on 2 September 1989 in Shah Alam and occupies a five-storey building with five exhibition pavilions. Galleries cover arts and culture of the Malay sub-groups and Chinese communities, natural history dioramas, prehistory, Islamic history and Malaysian sport, and vehicles including armoured cars, aeroplanes and locomotives are shown outdoors.

We could not find a current published schedule, so check opening hours and admission with the museum before you go. It sits near the civic centre and pairs with the Blue Mosque, which is covered in the Selangor temples guide.
