About Teluk Nipah

Teluk Nipah is the most popular beach among visitors to Pangkor, with calm water, food stalls along the road behind the beach and guesthouses close to the sand. You can jet ski, kayak or take a boat to nearby islands, and sunsets are a draw.

Wild oriental pied hornbills come down to guesthouses around dusk, which has become a local sight; watch them, but do not feed wildlife. A pink taxi from the jetty to Teluk Nipah costs around RM15 to RM20 per trip. Sources say November to February is the calmest season, and mornings and late afternoons are the best times.
