About Coral Bay

Coral Bay, also called Coral Beach, is the stretch of sand just north of Teluk Nipah. It is known for clearer water and coral that can be seen from the shore at low tide, and it faces the small coral-fringed Pulau Giam.

It is the better choice for snorkelling than Teluk Nipah itself. Corals and rocks can be sharp underfoot, so wear reef shoes and bring your own mask and snorkel or rent them locally. Boats to Giam Island leave from here and from Teluk Nipah.
