About Komtar JBCC
Komtar JBCC is the redevelopment of the old KOMTAR building in the city centre. The mall had its soft opening on 2 August 2014, and it has about 623.000 sq ft of floor space, a souk-style bazaar, restaurants, an indoor children's playground and around 1.700 parking bays.
It is within walking distance of JB Sentral, so it pairs well with City Square on a half-day in the old town. The mall's own site was announcing new tenants through 2026, including Matsukiyo, Empire Sushi and Yumido. We could not confirm its opening hours on that site, so check before you go.
