About Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball
Hoe Kee is one of the best-known places on Jonker Street (Jalan Hang Jebat) for chicken rice balls, the Melaka version of Hainanese chicken rice in which rice cooked in chicken stock is pressed into small balls. It serves them with steamed or roasted chicken. An April 2025 guide lists 10 rice balls for RM5 and steamed chicken from RM18.
