About The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat
The Banjaran is a villa resort on a 22.7-acre site in Tambun, about 15 minutes by car north-east of the city centre. It has 44 private villas in five categories (Lake, Water, Garden, Grand Garden and Royal), and every villa has its own plunge pool fed by the natural geothermal springs. Booking.com showed the Lake Villa with breakfast at RM2,020 to RM2,080 a night in mid-November 2026; the Grand Garden and Royal villas cost more.
Jeff's Cellar, the fine-dining restaurant, sits inside a limestone cave said to be 260 million years old, and there is an all-day restaurant, Pomelo, plus two bars. The resort accepts adults and guests aged 12 and above only, so it is not a family option. The Lost World of Tambun theme park is a few minutes away.
